Mårten Trotzig, Västerlånggatan 79. If you don't want to walk far, this is a pleasant restaurant. Ask for the Bistro menu, it is affordable with a variety of dishes on offer.

Bistro Ruby, Österlånggatan 14 and Bistro Ruby Grill next door. One of the city's best bets. Not cheap, but well-cooked.

Caffé Nero, Roslagsgatan 4. Stockholm's best pasta. We love it!
